Study, evaluate and implement strategic development plans of WTP; work out middle-term and long-term development guidelines.

Promote the development of high- and new-tech industries; Attract technology, funds, talented people and advanced management methods; Promote application and industrialization of high and new technologies.

Nurture the development of high- and new-tech enterprises; Promote integration of enterprises with institutions of higher education, as well as academic research institutes; promote the co-development of technology and economy.

Keep good relations with relevant government agencies to create a better environment for the development of high- and new-tech industries.

Provide services for enterprises located in WTP, such as consultation and entrustment, etc.

Organize and coordinate distribution of industries; Organize and coordinate the implementation of important projects and key projects.

Design and publicize the image of WTP.

Carry out other works assigned by the district council, district government, and administration committee of Kunming High- and New-tech Industrial Zone.
